Role Summary
The Geoscientist - Opportunity Generation is responsible for providing geoscience technical support and expertise to oil and gas development projects and production operations. This role involves collaboration with multi-discipline teams to support optimal asset development and operations, applying geoscience skills in various areas.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that include integrated reservoir modeling and geoscience interpretation. You will work closely with teams to ensure effective planning and execution of field development and well programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide geoscience technical support for oil and gas projects.
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to optimize asset development.
- Conduct integrated geoscience interpretation, including subsurface mapping.
- Analyze well logs and perform seismic interpretation.
- Execute sequence stratigraphy and structural analysis.
- Integrate production and reservoir engineering data.
- Generate opportunities through planning and evaluation of field development.
Job Requirements
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Geology, Geophysics or Earth Sciences.
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in upstream oil and gas.
Expertise in integrated seismic interpretation and quantitative analysis.
Strong teamwork and effective communication skills.
Self-motivated with a focus on achieving business results.
