Role Summary
The Global Export Controls Manager is responsible for designing, standardizing, operating, and continuously improving systems and processes related to export controls. This role plays a critical part in coordinating the workload of global export control analysts while ensuring compliance with international regulations and providing excellent service to customers.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in day-to-day operations that involve collaborating with various teams to enhance export control processes. You will work in a dynamic environment that requires strong leadership and compliance expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement critical metrics to measure export control effectiveness.
- Collaborate with international trade compliance managers to ensure alignment on regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programs for export analysts.
- Coordinate the workload of global export control analysts.
- Mitigate risks associated with global export operations.
- Provide excellent service to customers regarding export inquiries.
- Continuously improve systems and processes related to export controls.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in International Trade, Legal, Business, Finance or related field.
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
5+ years of direct experience in a multi-national Regulatory Compliance related field.
7+ years of experience supervising and leading people, projects, and/or programs.
Strong coaching & mentoring skills.
Excellent oral and written English language skills.
Detailed knowledge of U.S. export control rules and regulations.
