Role Summary

The Government Enforcement Agency Liaison Officer is responsible for managing daily requests from enforcement agencies to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures. This role plays a critical part in enhancing the efficiency of GEA management within the telecommunications sector.

Job Description

In this role, you will handle daily interactions with various enforcement agencies, ensuring that all requests are addressed promptly and in accordance with established procedures. You will also focus on improving processes to enhance overall compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily requests from enforcement agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Attend to statement requests from enforcement agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and requests.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance GEA management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline communication.
  • Provide training and support to staff on compliance matters.

Job Requirements

A Degree in Mass Communication, Business Administration, Information Management, or equivalent qualification.

At least 3 years of relevant experience in the Telecommunications industry or major corporations.

Familiarity with the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 & Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia.

Good communication & stakeholder management skills.
