The Head of Accident & Emergency is responsible for managing clinical work, performing thorough examinations, and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role involves leading the emergency department, overseeing medical administration, and maintaining ethical practices. The head will also engage in business development and ensure compliance with healthcare standards while providing clinical guidance and support to the team.
Job Requirements
Must possess at least a Medical Degree or equivalent from recognized institutions.
Full registration with Malaysian Medical Council.
Current Annual Practicing Certificate.
Completed at least 4 years of service with the Government.
Knowledge in healthcare system management, medical quality assurance, quality improvement and risk management.
Ability to work independently and a team player.
Demonstrates positive attitude, passion and pride.
Communicate using appropriate terminology for the patient, their families and other healthcare professionals.
