Role Summary
The Head - IT Network Communications is responsible for providing technical leadership on communication-related solutions. This role oversees the IT lifecycle of network systems for the Genting Group in Kuala Lumpur and Resorts World Genting, impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of communication across the organization.
Job Description
In this role, you will manage day-to-day operations related to IT network communications, ensuring seamless connectivity and communication systems. You will lead a team of IT professionals in a dynamic environment focused on innovation and strategic project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire IT lifecycle of network, firewalling, and communication systems.
- Manage IT-related projects to enhance communication solutions.
- Design innovative communication solutions tailored to organizational needs.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies for communication systems.
- Lead a team of network engineers to achieve company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 ISMS and PCI DSS procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support for VoIP telephony and cellular communication systems.
Job Requirements
Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
CISCO technical certifications (CCNA/CCNP) or Aruba Network certifications.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in designing and managing complex campus-wide networks.
Hands-on experience in dynamic routing and firewall administration.
Familiarity with ISO 27001 ISMS or PCI DSS procedures.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills.
