Role Summary
The Head of Safety & Security is responsible for overseeing the Safety, Health, and Environmental programs within the organization. This role ensures compliance with legal requirements and best practices, significantly impacting the safety culture in the healthcare environment.
Job Description
In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and complex administrative, technical, and professional tasks related to safety and security. You will work in a dynamic healthcare setting, collaborating with various teams to ensure a safe environment for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and administer various components of the Safety, Health, and Environmental programs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative guidance and best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote a culture of safety.
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics.
- Respond to safety incidents and conduct investigations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
Strong understanding of safety and health regulations.
Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
Knowledge of environmental management systems.
