As a Hindsight Economist, you will engage in monthly backcasting processes to evaluate performance metrics and present actionable insights. You will work closely with Senior Economists and Modeling Engineers in a dynamic manufacturing environment to refine planning models and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute monthly backcasting processes to analyze production performance.
- Identify profitability opportunities and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Senior Economists to refine LP models and configurations.
- Close gaps in planning strategies to enhance production efficiency.
- Analyze manufacturing economics to inform decision-making.
- Implement tool improvements and configuration changes.
- Drive site improvements based on performance analysis.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, MSc, or MEng in Chemical Engineering.
More than 5 years of experience in Refinery or Petrochemical manufacturing.
Proficiency in production planning and scheduling.
Experience with planning tools such as LP models.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing economics.
Ability to analyze monthly backcasting processes and identify opportunities.
