As a Hindsight Economist, you will join a centralized team focused on Overall Production Planning Model Validation and Production Performance Lookback for manufacturing sites. Your role involves executing monthly backcasting processes to analyze performance, identify profitability opportunities, and present findings to drive site improvements. You will collaborate with Senior Economists and Modeling Engineers to refine LP models, adjust configurations, and close gaps in planning strategies.
Bachelor's Degree, MSc, or MEng in Chemical Engineering.
More than 5 years of experience in Refinery or Petrochemical manufacturing.
Proficiency in production planning and scheduling.
Experience with planning tools such as LP models.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing economics.
Ability to analyze monthly backcasting processes and identify opportunities.
Experience in tool improvements, configuration changes, and model biasing.
