The Hindsight Economist is responsible for analyzing production performance and identifying profitability opportunities. This role involves collaboration with a centralized team to enhance manufacturing site strategies and drive improvements.
As a Hindsight Economist, you will engage in monthly backcasting processes to evaluate performance metrics and present actionable insights. You will work closely with Senior Economists and Modeling Engineers in a dynamic manufacturing environment to refine planning models and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor's Degree, MSc, or MEng in Chemical Engineering.
More than 5 years of experience in Refinery or Petrochemical manufacturing.
Proficiency in production planning and scheduling.
Experience with planning tools such as LP models.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing economics.
Ability to analyze monthly backcasting processes and identify opportunities.
