The Hindsight Economist role is part of a centralized team focused on executing Overall (Production Planning) Model Validation and Production Performance Lookback for specific or integrated manufacturing sites. This position involves performing monthly backcasting processes to analyze and identify opportunities to improve molecule management and profitability, working closely with site economists and engineers to optimize planning models and tools within refinery or petrochemical manufacturing environments.
Bachelor's Degree, MSc., or MEng in Chemical Engineering.
More than 5 years of experience working in refinery or petrochemical manufacturing sites, including production planning and scheduling.
Experience with planning tools such as LP models and knowledge of manufacturing economics is preferred.
