Role Summary
The HUB/Sasa Customer Settlement Specialist is responsible for facilitating payments from service agreement customers and distributing funds to WPS offices across the network. This role involves maintaining continuous communication with local offices and global agents while ensuring accurate financial transactions.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in daily financial operations, including recording cash transactions and reconciling balances. You will work closely with the Cash Collector Team Leader and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate payments from service agreement customers.
- Distribute funds to WPS offices across the network.
- Record and follow up on cash transactions related to Ships Agency.
- Check payments and update payment statuses.
- Reconcile balances and book payments.
- Maintain continuous communication with local offices and global agents.
- Collaborate with the Cash Collector Team Leader on financial matters.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting or Finance.
+2 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in a high volume environment.
Good knowledge of accounting principles.
Previous experience in a similar Accounts Payable environment is advantageous.
Good command of the English language (spoken & written).
Additional language skills will be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness.
