The Intern - Vulnerability Management is responsible for identifying security risks across various infrastructures and applications. This role provides an opportunity to collaborate with global teams to enhance security measures and ensure effective vulnerability management.
Job Description
As a Vulnerability Management Intern, you will engage in daily tasks that involve identifying security risks and assisting in the development of security policies. You will work closely with Security Metrics and Global Technology teams to ensure accurate reporting and remediation of vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify security risks across Cloud and On-Premise infrastructure.
- Assist in developing security policy baselines using CIS templates.
- Collaborate with Security Metrics and Global Technology teams.
- Drive remediation activities to meet essential SLAs.
- Support the creation of vulnerability reports.
- Participate in security assessments and audits.
- Learn and apply best practices in vulnerability management.
Job Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology.
Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
Problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of intellectual curiosity.
Basic programming knowledge in Python or other scripting languages.
Familiarity with tools such as API, Excel macros, or PowerBI.
