
The internship role of Business Development Specialist focuses on sales for aluminium cans. The position involves exploring new markets and developing strategies within a flexible work environment.
This role is responsible for leading and managing sales activities for the aluminium can and end product line. The objective is to ensure sustainable revenue growth, high customer satisfaction, and expanded market share, with a work arrangement that includes travel, remote work, and occasional office presence.
Solid understanding of aluminum can and end production and line performance metrics such as cpm and OEE.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willing to travel extensively within the country and overseas as needed.
Able to work remotely from home, with readiness to return to the office if required by the company.
Fluent in English with proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, or other regional languages considered an advantage.
Ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.
Capability to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing needs, resolving issues promptly, and delivering consistent support.
Experience in conducting regular customer visits locally and overseas to gather feedback and strengthen relationships.
Skill in preparing accurate and competitive quotations based on internal cost structure and customer specifications.
Ability to collaborate with internal departments such as finance, logistics, and order handling to align pricing strategies.
Competence in negotiating sales agreements and closing deals professionally and ethically.
Experience in monitoring and reporting sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline activity.
Proficiency in maintaining CRM systems and customer data up to date.
Capability to follow up on deliveries, payments, and post-sales service to ensure smooth customer experience.
Willingness to work closely with production, QA, order handling and logistics teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
Ability to contribute to product improvement by sharing customer feedback and market intelligence.
