
The Internship Chambering Student (Pupil) is responsible for supporting legal professionals in various tasks related to legal documentation and research. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic legal environment while assisting with essential legal processes.
The day-to-day work involves drafting legal documents, conducting research, and assisting lawyers during hearings and trials. Interns will also engage in client meetings and manage correspondences, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the legal field.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and has completed Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP).
Good command of English and Malay (both written and spoken).
Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous but not compulsory.
Responsible, disciplined, and able to meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to interact with clients when needed.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a legal team.
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
