This internship position is for a Company Secretary Intern to gain practical experience in setting up companies, handling important documents, and understanding company laws. The role offers hands-on learning in corporate compliance and management.
The role involves understanding the procedures for setting up a Sdn. Bhd. company, including incorporation and the transition from Companies Act 1965 to Companies Act 2016. Responsibilities include preparing and understanding various documents related to company incorporation, lodgement, share transfers, banking facilities, statutory registers, annual compliance obligations, constitutional changes, management changes, and drafting resolutions for bank accounts and property transactions.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Law, Business Administration, Business Studies, Management, or a related field.
Enrollment in or completion of a Company Secretary course.
Knowledge of corporate secretarial practices, including legislation Companies Act is beneficial.
A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn are highly valued.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (for Malaysian-based roles).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
