Role Summary

The Internship Company Secretary Intern is responsible for assisting in the procedures for setting up a Sdn. Bhd. company. This role provides valuable exposure to corporate secretarial practices and compliance obligations within a dynamic work environment.

Job Description

As an Internship Company Secretary Intern, you will engage in day-to-day tasks that involve understanding and preparing various documents related to company incorporation and compliance. You will work closely with experienced professionals in a supportive environment that encourages learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing incorporation documents for Sdn. Bhd. companies.
  • Understand and apply the transition from Companies Act 1965 to Companies Act 2016.
  • Prepare and lodge statutory documents and compliance filings.
  • Facilitate share transfers and banking facility arrangements.
  • Maintain statutory registers and ensure annual compliance obligations are met.
  • Support in drafting resolutions for bank accounts and property transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage constitutional and management changes.

Job Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Law, Business Administration, Business Studies, Management, or a related field.

Enrollment in or completion of a Company Secretary course.

Knowledge of corporate secretarial practices and relevant legislation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
