The Tax Intern is responsible for supporting tax compliance preparation and completion. This role involves assisting in corporate tax calculations and ensuring legal compliance while working closely with the tax team.
Job Description
The Tax Intern will engage in day-to-day tasks that include preparing and reviewing tax documents in a collaborative environment. The intern will also assist with various administrative duties related to tax compliance and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support tax compliance preparation and completion.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing corporate tax calculations for accuracy.
- Help with the submission of tax estimations and income tax returns.
- Support tax audit documentation processes.
- Assist with tax file number applications.
- Handle telephone calls related to tax inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the mentor or Department Head.
