The Internship ELV Engineer (Data Centre) is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and providing technical support for extra-low voltage (ELV) systems in data centre projects. This includes overseeing systems such as access control, CCTV, fire alarm, PA, BMS, and structured cabling. The role involves preparing material take-offs and cost estimates, managing site installation teams to ensure adherence to safety and technical standards, coordinating with various disciplines for system integration and handover, assisting in system testing and commissioning, and preparing associated technical documentation and reports.
Good understanding of ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, BMS, and Network Cabling.
Familiar with Malaysian construction and electrical safety regulations.
Strong communication and coordination skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and contractors from different language backgrounds.
Multilingual ability (such as English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese) will be an advantage.
