Role Summary
The Internship Finance Intern (Accounting) is responsible for supporting the finance team in various accounting tasks. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial processes and contribute to the efficiency of accounting workflows.
Job Description
The intern will engage in day-to-day financial operations, including data entry and processing purchase requisitions within a collaborative team environment. This position offers valuable exposure to month-end and year-end closing activities, as well as compliance with global reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the finance team by entering financial transactions into accounting systems.
- Process purchase requisitions and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with global reporting deadlines.
- Perform basic financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Maintain an organized filing system for document traceability.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team.
- Help prepare documents for audits and tax purposes.
- Contribute to process improvements and explore AI tools to enhance accounting workflows.
Job Requirements
Currently pursuing or possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with AI-powered tools for accounting and data analysis is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Availability for a 3-6 month internship.
Willingness to assist with ad-hoc assignments as needed.
