Role Summary
The Internship, Process Development Engineer is responsible for supporting the Manufacturing Engineering team in developing solutions to engineering problems. This role involves hands-on experience and collaboration with professionals in a dynamic work environment in Bukit Mertajam, Penang.
Job Description
The internship involves undertaking assignment-related activities under detailed direction, following standard practices and procedures. Interns will work closely with supervisors and other professionals, applying basic principles to develop solutions to problems of limited scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and solve engineering challenges.
- Conduct data analysis to support process improvements.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions.
- Document processes and maintain accurate records.
- Support the testing and validation of new processes.
- Learn and apply industry best practices in manufacturing engineering.
Job Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
Good programming knowledge in Python, C, C++, or Java.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
