Role Summary
The Internship Remote WeChat Tester is responsible for testing and managing WeChat accounts to ensure optimal functionality. This role involves engaging with various features of the WeChat platform and identifying any issues that may arise during usage.
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing an active WeChat account, utilizing various features such as chat, Moments, Mini Programs, and WeChat Pay. You will work in a fully remote environment, collaborating with team members to enhance the user experience on the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a WeChat account using a passport.
- Manage and maintain an active WeChat account.
- Navigate settings, permissions, and account options within the app.
- Follow test cases and checklists to ensure thorough testing.
- Identify and report UI and UX issues.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, including clearing cache and reinstalling the app.
- Capture screenshots and conduct screen recordings for documentation.
- Collaborate with the QA team to improve testing processes.
Job Requirements
Familiarity with WeChat features and functionalities.
Basic understanding of QA testing principles.
Experience with bug reporting tools is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies.
Good communication skills in English.
