Job Description
The IT Executive - Microsoft Technologies is responsible for the effective operations and administration of servers within a medium to large Windows environment. This role involves handling complex Windows issues, providing day-to-day server support independently, and participating in system implementation for production, testing, development, and disaster recovery. The position requires proactive monitoring and capacity planning of the server environment, resolving technical issues, and ensuring high standards of technical support to end-users. Daily system monitoring, security checks, user account management, and recovery from hardware or software failures are also key aspects of the role.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent; or Diploma/Professional Certificate with minimum of 2-5 years of working experience in Windows System Administration.
Experience in various operating systems, security, LAN technology, communication protocol and mediums, internet technology and configuration is an added advantage.
Knowledge in diagnostic and troubleshoot skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills, team player, highly motivated, well organized, and result oriented.
Knowledge and experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper-V, Microsoft SQL Database, Citrix and VMWare administration are additional advantages.
Able to work out of office hours where necessary and on standby 24/7.
