Junior Sales- Sales & Marketing Department at Boustead Shipping Agencies Sdn Bhd - Selangor

The Junior Sales in the Sales & Marketing Department is responsible for identifying and developing new business leads for the company's freight services. This role involves engaging with potential customers and supporting the sales team in achieving targets through field visits and client interactions.

In this role, you will conduct outdoor visits to prospect and identify new business leads while promoting the company's freight services across various modes of transport. You will work closely with senior sales staff and participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills in logistics and customer handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outdoor field visits to prospect and identify new business leads.
• Present and promote the company's freight services to potential customers.
• Assist in preparing and submitting freight quotations under the supervision of the Manager.
• Follow up on quotations, inquiries, and leads to convert prospects into active accounts.
• Update and maintain CRM/prospect database with visit records, feedback, and progress.
• Accompany senior Sales staff on client calls and joint visits to learn sales approach.
• Attend internal training sessions on logistics, freight products, customs procedures, and customer handling.
• Meet weekly and monthly visit/call targets as set by the Manager.
• Report daily fieldwork activities and lead status to the Manager.
