The Sales & Marketing Executive in the Freight Forwarding Industry is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, securing new accounts, and promoting sea, air, and land freight services. This role involves establishing market presence and building long-term relationships with shippers and consignees. Key responsibilities include business development and sales activities such as lead generation, client acquisition, quotation preparation, and CRM management. The role also involves marketing and brand positioning tasks including market analysis, promotion, customer retention, and coordination with internal teams to ensure service delivery and strategic feedback.
Job Requirements
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sciences or related field.
CGPA of 3.00 or higher.
Possess own transport.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Goal-oriented and sales-driven mindset.
Organizational and administrative skills.
Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
Understanding of Incoterms and shipping documentation.
1 to 3 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within freight forwarding or logistics.
Knowledge of Incoterms for Import and Export.
Experience in quotation preparation and rate negotiation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of market research.
Willingness to travel long distances 1 to 2 times quarterly.
Ability to manage communication across different time zones.
Flexible working hours when required.
Professional appearance and etiquette.
