The position requires managing customer case tickets, collaborating with Level 2 Support teams, and participating in desktop workflow processes such as onboarding and offboarding.
The L1 Support Engineer provides onsite Systems and Network support to clients as part of daily operations. The role involves handling Level 1 analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to servers, networking equipment, and user systems, along with managing case tickets raised by customers and collaborating with Level 2 Support teams for complex problems. The engineer also participates in onboarding and offboarding processes in desktop workflows, engages with multiple stakeholders, maintains technical documentation, shares knowledge, and stays updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
Diploma in information technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field preferred, or significant relevant experience in lieu of formal education.
Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar industry.
Good team player with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and possess a positive attitude.
Independent personality and versatile as a good team player when working on projects within a team.
Candidate must have a relentless attitude and take responsibility and ownership of customer problems, from start to resolution.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSE) are a plus.
