Lease Process Expert – Allnex Asia Gbs Sdn. Bhd.

The Lease Process Expert is responsible for managing and updating lease contracts in compliance with IFRS16 standards. The role involves working with finance teams, supporting reporting and audits, and leading projects to improve lease processes and efficiency.

The Lease Process Expert acts as a key user for IFRS16 tools including SAP RE-FX and EY lease database. This role involves managing lease contract changes and updates with Legal Entities and providing monthly leasing postings to Controllers. The expert supports the transition to the A2R team and collaborates with Procurement and local Finance Controllers to ensure IFRS16 compliance. Responsibilities include communicating closing statuses and issues with the A2R Team Lead, Supervisors, and local stakeholders, as well as running and analyzing lease reports, preparing reconciliations, and securing necessary approvals. The expert also maintains documentation in line with Corporate Internal Controls, supports monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis and reporting activities, coordinates internal and external audits, and ensures compliance with controls and lease-related policies. They deliver quarterly reports, budget forecasts, variance analyses, escalate issues appropriately, provide IFRS16 expertise and training to finance teams, and lead lease improvement projects to enhance processes, automation, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
