Role Summary

The Lease Process Expert is responsible for managing lease contracts and ensuring compliance with IFRS16 standards. This role plays a critical part in the financial operations of the organization, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance processes and reporting.

Job Description

The Lease Process Expert acts as a key user for IFRS16 tools, including SAP RE-FX and EY lease database, managing lease contract changes and updates. This position involves providing monthly leasing postings to Controllers and supporting the transition to the A2R team while ensuring compliance with IFRS16 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage lease contract changes and updates with Legal Entities.
  • Provide monthly leasing postings to Controllers.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and local Finance Controllers for IFRS16 compliance.
  • Communicate closing statuses and issues with the A2R Team Lead and local stakeholders.
  • Run and analyze lease reports, preparing reconciliations and securing necessary approvals.
  • Maintain documentation in line with Corporate Internal Controls.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis and reporting activities.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with controls and policies.
  • Deliver quarterly reports, budget forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Lead lease improvement projects to enhance processes and efficiency.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of IFRS16 standards and lease accounting processes.

Experience with SAP RE-FX and lease database tools.

Ability to manage lease contracts and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Effective communication skills with the ability to escalate issues properly.

Experience supporting financial analysis, reporting, and audit coordination.

Ability to provide expertise, guidance, and training related to IFRS16.
