Role Summary
The Lorry Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of goods to and from distribution centers. This role involves ensuring compliance with road rules and company safety regulations while maintaining vehicle roadworthiness.
Job Description
In this position, the Lorry Driver will conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and manage the loading and offloading of shipments. The work environment is dynamic, requiring adherence to safety protocols and efficient logistics management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and offload all shipments and deliveries to outlets.
- Conduct daily inspections of vehicle roadworthiness and cleanliness.
- Ensure safe transportation of goods to and from distribution centers.
- Obey road rules and company safety regulations.
- Update checklist forms and travel logs daily.
- Park vehicles in designated areas after hours.
- Be accountable for all assigned goods and shipments.
Job Requirements
Must possess valid Goods Driving License (GDL).
Must possess full Class E driving license (Vehicle > 7,500kg).
At least 1 year experience as a lorry driver.
Clean driving record.
Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
Willing to be based at Genting Highlands Resort.
