Role Summary

The Manager/Assistant Manager, Learning & Development is responsible for assisting in the delivery of training programs, particularly the Future Leaders Program. This role plays a crucial part in strategic planning and execution of training initiatives while collaborating with Japan HR on matters concerning Japanese expatriates.

Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Learning & Development to implement various training programs and ensure effective onboarding for expatriates. You will engage in strategic planning and execution of training initiatives in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering training programs, particularly the Future Leaders Program.
  • Develop training modules tailored to organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with Japan HR on expatriate-related matters.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Liaise with local authorities for compliance and support.
  • Manage the onboarding process for expatriates.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

3-5 years of working experience in retail operations management or a related field.

Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N2 or above preferred).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in curriculum development and training execution.
