Job Description
The Manager Company Secretary will ensure compliance for Telekom Malaysia (TM) and its Group of Companies with their Constitutions, Code of Conduct, applicable company laws, and relevant legislation, including Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad requirements. The role involves facilitating compliance with internal rules and policies, supporting Board operations, and managing secretarial records effectively.
Key responsibilities include assisting Company Secretaries in Board matters, drafting announcements for Bursa Securities, advising management on governance, and coordinating the preparation of TM’s Integrated Annual Report. The incumbent will also ensure timely filing with relevant authorities and handle special projects as directed by the Group Company Secretary.
Job Requirements
Professional qualification as a member of The Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) or ICSA, or a recognized law degree with corporate secretarial experience.
Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) or Public Listed Companies (PLCs).
Strong background in corporate secretarial and governance matters.
Legal background with exposure to public listed company environments is an advantage.
Licensed by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM/CCM) under section 20G of The Companies Commission of Malaysia Act 2001.
