
The Manager, Contracts will lead the contracts and procurement functions, ensuring compliance and alignment with project objectives. This role involves managing the tender process and optimizing contract terms for cost efficiency.
Lead and oversee the full spectrum of contracts and procurement functions. Ensure strategic sourcing, cost & budget control, and regulatory compliance, while aligning all activities with overall project timelines and business objectives. Manage the tender award process, including evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization. Optimize contract terms to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. Review, evaluate, and verify contractual claims from contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
At least 10 years of working experience in a related field.
Experience in construction/developer field will be an added advantage.
Knowledgeable in feasibility studies and cost estimation.
Good analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in English language.
Willingness to work in Sandakan, Sabah.
