Role Summary
The MANAGER, CONTRACTS is responsible for leading and overseeing the full spectrum of contracts and procurement functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring strategic sourcing, cost control, and regulatory compliance while aligning activities with project timelines and business objectives.
Job Description
In this role, you will manage the tender award process, including evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization. You will also optimize contract terms to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the contracts and procurement functions.
- Ensure strategic sourcing and cost control.
- Manage regulatory compliance throughout the procurement process.
- Oversee the tender award process, including evaluation and negotiation.
- Finalize contracts with contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Review and verify contractual claims from various stakeholders.
- Optimize contract terms to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality.
Job Requirements
Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
At least 10 years of working experience in a related field.
Experience in the construction/developer field is an added advantage.
Knowledgeable in feasibility studies and cost estimation.
Proficient in the English language.
Willingness to work in Sandakan, Sabah.
