Role Summary
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing the production functions of the plant. This role involves translating operational strategies into implementation plans while ensuring production targets meet both internal and external customer expectations.
Job Description
In this role, you will manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with quality standards. You will collaborate with various functions to optimize manufacturing performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage production functions and oversee budgeting and capacity planning.
- Ensure production targets are met in alignment with customer expectations.
- Initiate investments for equipment and drive continuous improvement via CBS methods.
- Ensure compliance with quality and ESH standards.
- Lead employee development and conduct coaching sessions.
- Collaborate across functions to enhance manufacturing performance.
- Monitor production performance and report on KPIs.
Job Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in managing production functions.
Strong ability to translate production strategy into action plans.
Experience with manufacturing processes such as mixing, calendaring, or assembly.
Knowledge of continuous improvement activities and CBS methods.
Leadership skills for employee development and coaching.
