The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for executing property-level communications and marketing plans to promote on-brand messaging through traditional, digital, and social media channels. This role supports various marketing activities focused on enhancing the hotel's image and driving sales and revenue growth, particularly emphasizing Food and Beverage promotions. The position involves collaboration with internal teams and external agencies to manage advertising campaigns, public relations efforts, social media content, direct marketing, and visual asset management, ensuring alignment with brand standards and the overall marketing strategy.
A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related major plus 4 years of experience in sales, marketing, digital, or related professional areas; hospitality marketing or digital advertising experience preferred OR a 4-year bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related major with 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, digital, or related professional areas; hospitality marketing or digital advertising agency experience preferred.
Ability to coordinate and manage marketing and communication campaigns across multiple channels.
Experience working with external agencies and vendors to execute advertising and PR campaigns.
Strong collaboration skills to partner with internal departments such as operations, sales, revenue management, and eCommerce teams.
Competence in managing social media, digital content, and online reputation management.
Capability to develop and execute direct marketing, collateral, and event marketing activities.
Knowledge of brand standards and ability to ensure marketing materials comply with these guidelines.
Strong organizational skills to maintain marketing collateral inventory and oversee media schedules.
Ability to analyze marketing performance and support sales and revenue strategies.
Effective communication skills and leadership to provide marketing expertise and training internally.
