Job Description
In this role, the Medical Officer will engage in day-to-day patient care within the Accident & Emergency department, managing medical records and attending to patients in wards. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring quick decision-making and effective communication with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the Accident & Emergency department.
- Treat patients and perform necessary medical procedures.
- Ensure proper referrals to specialists when needed.
- Attend to patients in wards and manage their medical records.
- Participate in blood donation campaigns.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
Job Requirements
Must possess at least a Medical Degree or equivalent from recognized institutions.
Full registration with Malaysian Medical Council.
Current Annual Practicing Certificate.
Completed at least 4 years of service with the Government.
Evidence of current and ongoing education (desirable).
