Role Summary
The Medical Product Representative is responsible for promoting the company's range of medical devices and consumable disposable products to the orthopedic industry. This field-based role involves extensive travel and requires adaptability to meet the needs of patients and healthcare professionals.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage with orthopedic surgeons and customers, attending live patient cases and working variable hours to support sales efforts. You will focus on increasing sales revenue and maintaining strong business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote medical devices and consumable products to orthopedic professionals.
- Attend live patient cases to demonstrate product usage.
- Travel extensively for local, regional, and international engagements.
- Achieve sales targets and increase revenue.
- Build and maintain relationships with orthopedic surgeons and healthcare professionals.
- Provide training and workshops on product usage.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for market penetration.
Job Requirements
At least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Biological Sciences, Engineering (Bioengineering/Biomedical), business-related field, or equivalent.
A valid driving license.
Hospital/theatre working experience is advantageous.
Interest or experience in customer engagement.
Strong time management skills.
Comfortable with short notice changes.
Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
