The NDE & Inspection Specialist will provide technical leadership in nondestructive evaluation (NDE) across global facilities and capital projects. This role ensures high quality inspection practices, supports technology development, and delivers advanced integrity solutions for assets and operations.
Job Requirements
Current or past ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II certification or equivalent for Radiographic (RT) film interpretation, Ultrasonic (UT), Eddy current (ET), Liquid Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT) examination methods.
In-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience in PAUT, TOFD, and ILI (in-line inspection) technology.
Advanced degree in NDE area.
Experience in leading NDE technology development projects.
Working experience in oil & gas owner/operator companies or NDE service providers.
Ability to interpret Industry codes and standards with respect to NDE criteria.
Statistics knowledge and FFS (fitness for service) knowledge.
Audit Skills - ISO Auditor / Lead Auditor Certification.
American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
Basic Knowledge of refinery and chemical plant materials of construction.
Basic Knowledge of corrosion and mechanical degradation mechanisms.
Basic Knowledge of pressure vessel, piping, and pipeline fabrication processes.
Basic Knowledge of Positive Material Identification (PMI) tools and techniques.
Basic Knowledge of structural steel.
Basic Knowledge of painting, coating and refractory installation.
Basic Knowledge of metallurgy.
