
The Network Procurement Category Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that Maxis procures the necessary materials and services efficiently. This position requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze proposals to support the company's operational needs.
As a Network Procurement Category Manager, you will be responsible for procuring materials, software, and services to meet business requirements. This includes negotiating with vendors for favorable pricing, analyzing commercial proposals, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. You will also supervise technical evaluations and communicate effectively with vendors and end users throughout the procurement process.
Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field
8 to 10 years of total work experience
Familiarity with SAP/MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of procurement contracts and negotiation skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
Knowledge in Telecommunication Infrastructure and Network preferred
