OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, REHABILITATION – KPJ Healthcare

The Occupational Therapist, Rehabilitation is responsible for providing professional occupational therapy services to patients. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality rehabilitation care for both inpatients and outpatients.

In this role, you will carry out daily occupational therapy duties as delegated by the Head of Services, ensuring that all patients receive appropriate assessments and care. You will work in a dynamic environment alongside other healthcare professionals to maintain internationally recognized standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct professional assessments of patients to determine their therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, speech therapists, and rehab aides to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Participate in continuing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
