Product & Process Industrialization Engineer at Continental

The Product & Process Industrialization Engineer will lead the industrialization of new products while ensuring quality and compliance with specifications. This role requires collaboration with various teams and effective training of manufacturing personnel.

As a Product & Process Industrialization Engineer at Continental, you will be responsible for reviewing new product process specifications and quality requirements provided by the Vulcanite Sydney Engineering team. You will ensure the timely availability of moulds, special tools, testing, and production materials for new product industrialization. Your role will involve leading the industrialization team through first article sample preparation, validation, and approval, while collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering for process improvements.

In addition, you will communicate with the Vulcanite Sydney Engineering team for revisions of process specifications and quality requirements. Training the manufacturing shop floor team on new product processes and quality standards will be a key responsibility. You will also monitor first article production and inspection, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders to maintain compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
