Role Summary
The Production Area Leader for Banner & Pocket is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the designated production unit. This role involves managing daily shopfloor operations and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality standards.
Job Description
In this role, you will manage the daily operations of the production area, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will collaborate with engineering and support teams to address technical challenges and optimize workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily shopfloor operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Manage adherence to quality and safety standards (QMS, PPS, SH).
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Manage workforce planning to meet output targets.
- Drive efforts to minimize waste and scrap in production.
- Conduct operator training programs and lead accident investigations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree (3 yrs exp) or Diploma (5 yrs exp) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Demonstrated experience in shopfloor employee management within a manufacturing setting.
Proficient in implementing and monitoring QMS, PPS, and SH compliance protocols.
Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and implementing continuous improvement projects.
Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia languages.
