Job Description
Zone Designworks (Penang branch) is seeking skilled Intermediate and Senior Project Architects to join their new office in Penang. The role involves playing a crucial part in the successful delivery of architectural projects by collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary design teams. Responsibilities include leading the design and development of architectural projects from concept to completion, preparing detailed design drawings and documentation, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors, managing project budgets and timelines, conducting site visits and overseeing construction activities, mentoring junior architects, and contributing to the growth of the design team and practice.
Job Requirements
4-7+ years of experience as a Project Architect, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Experience in high-rise and mixed development projects.
Proficient in using architectural design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
Strong technical knowledge of building by-laws, building materials, construction methods, and local building codes.
Based/Living in Penang and may be required to visit the HQ in Kuala Lumpur from time to time.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and project teams.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to deliver innovative design solutions.
A degree in Architecture or a related field and a valid professional license or registration.
Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage but not mandatory.
