Project Manager at IJM Corporation Berhad - Penang

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing construction logistics and stakeholder relationships.

As a Project Manager in the Construction Division, you will oversee the entire project, providing direction, reviewing progress, and ensuring all functions work together effectively to keep the project on track. You will coordinate tasks and build strong relationships among departments, consultants, clients, authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers, focusing on negotiation, motivation, and stakeholder expectation management.

Your role will involve monitoring unit costs, comparing daily site progress with project estimates, and reviewing elements impacting construction risk, cost, and cash flow to achieve profit targets. You will prepare and manage project budgets, track expenses, take corrective actions, and provide regular project status updates while ensuring project completion within the specified timeline and maintaining compliance with quality and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
