Job Description

The Public Area Supervisor at Sheraton Kota Kinabalu oversees the daily cleanliness and maintenance of public areas within the hotel. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying issues and ensuring that all areas are well-kept and inviting for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure cleanliness and condition standards are met using checklists.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues effectively.
  • Coordinate and request repairs using appropriate methods.
  • Maintain and store cleaning equipment properly.
  • Complete required paperwork related to housekeeping.
  • Respond promptly to various requests from guests and staff.
  • Assist management in employee hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluation.
