As a Purchasing Manager at Continental, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all local purchasing activities for the plant. You will translate the plant's purchasing strategy into actionable plans and ensure their implementation. Your role will also involve contributing to the strategic and operative planning of the plant, ensuring the achievement of purchasing targets, and initiating continuous improvement activities. Additionally, you will interface with business units and support group purchasing processes while participating in local purchasing-related projects.

In this role, you will oversee the entire purchasing process for both production and non-production materials. You will determine relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and perform supplier development. Your responsibilities will also include managing the delivery dates of purchased materials and investments, ensuring compliance throughout the purchasing process.
