Role Summary
The QAD Consultant is responsible for providing Level 2 support for the QAD ERP system. This role involves managing change requests and incident requests while collaborating with vendors on global implementation projects and advising on process transformations.
Job Description
In this role, the consultant will engage in day-to-day support activities for the QAD ERP system, ensuring that user requirements are met effectively. The work environment is dynamic, involving collaboration with various stakeholders and participation in significant projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 support for the QAD ERP system.
- Handle change requests and incident requests following best business processes.
- Collaborate with vendors to manage end-to-end global implementation projects.
- Advise on organizational process transformations.
- Develop functional specifications based on user requirements and enhancement needs.
- Support L2 QAD support activities alongside an SME managing L3 support.
- Participate in full cycle Greenfield implementations and cloud migration initiatives.
Job Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in QAD ERP implementation or support projects, either in L2 or L3 roles.
Experience with at least one full cycle end-to-end implementation or regional/global L2 support of QAD ERP is an advantage but not compulsory.
Cloud exposure is an added advantage but not compulsory.
Strong finance business process knowledge within manufacturing is an added advantage but not compulsory.
Experience with QAD SE or EE versions is an added advantage but not compulsory.
