Job Description
This is a remote Quality Assurance Engineer position responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation scripts as well as manual test cases. The role includes writing automated integration and end-to-end tests, improving continuous automatic testing processes, creating and maintaining test documentation, and performing various types of testing including front end/UI, database, API, performance, regression, and smoke testing.
Job Requirements
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
2+ years’ experience working on a QA Engineer position.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience with both black box and white box testing.
Hands-on experience with a front-end testing tool, specifically with Cypress.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Have experience working with testing desktop, mobile and cloud applications.
Working knowledge of Git version control system.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Creating and reviewing test plans, test cases and test suites to ensure that the testing is comprehensive and covers all requirements.
Executing test cases (automated or manual) and analysing the results to identify any defects or issues.
Documenting and tracking defects and issues.
Collaborating with software engineer and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Helping to identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
Familiarity with the Linux operating system and bash is a plus.
Sharp analytical and Problem-solving skills.
