Job Description
In this remote position, the Quality Assurance Engineer will design, develop, and execute both automation scripts and manual test cases. The role requires a proactive approach to improving continuous testing processes and maintaining comprehensive test documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation scripts for testing software applications.
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects.
- Create and maintain test documentation to ensure clarity and comprehensiveness.
- Collaborate with software engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Perform various types of testing including front end/UI, database, API, performance, regression, and smoke testing.
- Document and track defects and issues throughout the testing process.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
Job Requirements
2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience with both black box and white box testing.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with front-end testing tools, specifically Cypress.
Familiarity with Git version control system.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
