The candidate will work closely with various stakeholders and be responsible for monitoring project costs, site valuations, and final accounts. The role involves preparing and submitting budgetary estimates from tender drawings and Bill of Quantities for all disciplines, including cost estimation, progress claims, variation orders, and evaluation of claims. The candidate will prepare contract awards, check contract documents, and recommend contractor valuations. The position is accountable for pre and post-contract management, monitoring materials and construction costs, site valuation, variation orders, and final accounts. Responsibilities also include assisting in contractual issues and contract administration duties related to quantity surveying, monitoring scope amendments and contract conditions, acquiring quotations, and collaborating with clients, consultants, suppliers, and sub-contractors. The candidate will coordinate with the finance department on payment matters and project cash flow, attend site valuations and meetings, and prepare or verify payment certificates and finalize project accounts.
