Role Summary
The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with site safety regulations according to legal standards and established standard operating procedures. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel on the construction site.
Job Description
In this role, you will oversee daily safety operations on the construction site, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. You will conduct safety briefings, monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and prepare safety reports to ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare and submit safety reports to management.
- Conduct safety briefings for workers at the start of each shift.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) among workers.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the site.
- Provide training and guidance on safe work practices.
Job Requirements
Possesses a valid Yellow Book certified by DOSH/JKKP.
Experienced in construction site safety work (preferred).
Disciplined and proactive.
Able to work independently.
Immediate availability is an added advantage.
