Job Description
The Recreation Experience Expert (Pool) at Sheraton Johor Bahru serves as a key resource for all recreation activities on the property. The role involves providing guests with information about available recreation facilities such as pools, beach, entertainment zones, fitness centers, and child activity centers. This position promotes a fun and relaxing atmosphere while ensuring safety and compliance with the rules and regulations of the recreation facilities. The role also includes recruiting and scheduling guests for activities, responding to emergencies according to local procedures, assisting with private functions, maintaining recreational facilities, and processing transactions for equipment rental and services.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
CPR Certification.
First Aid Certification.
Recreation Equipment certification or training required by local and state agencies.
Ability to welcome and acknowledge guests and provide excellent customer service.
Capability to observe and ensure safety and welfare of guests in recreational activities.
Ability to provide assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
Ability to clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.
Ability to process payments using point of sale systems.
Ability to follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect company assets.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
Capacity to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, lift and carry objects up to and exceeding 25 pounds with assistance, manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills, and move across various surfaces and spaces.
