Role Summary

The Regional Assistant Manager - IT Audit is responsible for leading IT audit activities to assess IT controls, cybersecurity, and technology risks. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and enhancing the operational effectiveness of IT systems within the organization.

Job Description

In this role, you will engage in day-to-day IT audit activities, collaborating with various teams to evaluate and improve IT controls and cybersecurity measures. You will be part of a dynamic environment focused on identifying technology-related risks and implementing effective remediation plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT audit activities to assess IT controls and cybersecurity measures.
  • Conduct audits on core IT systems to evaluate operational effectiveness.
  • Identify technology-related risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement remediation plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls post-audit.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting IT audit practices.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.

3–7 years of experience in IT audit, preferably in retail or F&B environments.

Familiarity with technology frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST).

CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or relevant cybersecurity certifications are a plus.

Strong understanding of retail technology (POS, ERP, payment systems).

Ability to communicate technical issues in business language.
