The Retail Operations Auditor conducts regular audits of retail outlets, focusing on cash handling, inventory control, and sales transactions. The work environment is dynamic, requiring frequent travel to various locations to assess compliance and operational risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits of retail outlets to ensure compliance with company SOPs.
- Evaluate cash handling procedures and inventory control measures.
- Analyze sales transactions for discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
- Monitor operational risks and assess internal controls for continuous improvement.
- Audit POS systems and e-commerce devices for accuracy.
- Prepare audit findings and reports for management review.
- Provide feedback and collaborate with outlet teams to enhance procedures.
- Conduct mystery shopper checks and service observations to maintain service standards.
Job Requirements
Minimum SPM qualification; Diploma/Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
2-3 years of experience in retail operations, auditing, or compliance roles.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel frequently for audits.
