Job Description
The Revenue Manager / Senior Manager leads inventory management and analysis activities and staff within a given market. This role is responsible for managing rooms and space inventory to maximize revenue and profits, partnering with stakeholders to set sales and revenue strategies, and ensuring that all rates, packages, and sales strategies are accurately reflected in inventory systems. The position involves preparing forecasts, budgets, and projections, using analytical tools to optimize revenue, and providing expertise and leadership to sales leaders and property teams.
Job Requirements
Education includes either a 2-year degree with 4 years of relevant experience or a 4-year bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related fields.
Experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional areas is required.
Ability to understand, communicate, and implement sales and revenue strategies effectively.
Skills in inventory management, including managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions.
Proficiency in using brand revenue management systems and analytical tools.
Strong analytical skills to prepare and analyze forecasts, budgets, and revenue opportunities.
Ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
Leadership experience to manage teams and conduct human resource activities such as hiring, training, and performance management.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across different levels of the organization.
Commitment to achieving and exceeding performance and budget goals.
