Job Description

The Sales Coordinator - Proactive performs general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, such as filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying. They prepare sales-related documents including proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders, and promote the brand image internally and externally. The role involves gathering materials, assembling information packages, using sales techniques to maximize revenue, managing information in sales software, and serving as the point of contact for clients through phone and email communications. Additional duties include answering guest questions about property facilities and services, upholding company policies and standards, developing positive working relationships, and performing other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.

At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.

No supervisory experience is required.

Ability to perform general office duties including filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and copying.

Capability to prepare sales-related documents such as proposals and contracts.

Skilled in promoting brand awareness internally and externally.

Competent in gathering materials and assembling information packages.

Proficient in using sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.

Experienced in managing and verifying information within sales software.

Aptitude for answering guest questions about property facilities and services.

Ability to communicate professionally with clients by phone and email.

Commitment to follow company policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality and professional appearance.

Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.

Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Willingness to perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
